Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-08-27

These are the terms for using DineFile. Reading your TikTok collection and giving you back a spreadsheet is the whole product; this page covers the rest of what using it means.

DineFile is a product of Akashe Strategies LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. These terms are an agreement between you and Akashe Strategies LLC, and "DineFile", "we" and "us" mean Akashe Strategies LLC throughout this page. You can reach us at support@dinefile.com.

What DineFile does

DineFile reads a TikTok collection you saved yourself, finds the restaurant in each video, and hands you back a spreadsheet with addresses, neighborhoods, and map links.

Your account

You sign up with Google or with an email address, through our authentication provider. The account is yours, and keeping your sign-in secure is your responsibility, not DineFile's.

DineFile is for people 18 and over. If you are under 18, do not create an account.

How you may use it

Use DineFile on your own saved TikTok collections — not someone else's collection, and not through automation beyond DineFile's own extraction flow.

The spreadsheet DineFile gives you back is yours to use. It is not a data product to resell.

TikTok's terms

TikTok has not approved DineFile, automated access may well be against TikTok's terms, and we have accepted that risk rather than claiming otherwise.

This is a product decision, not a legal opinion.

The extension only reads the collection you opened yourself, in your own already-signed-in browser session. It never sees your TikTok password. It does not collect anyone else's saved videos, and it does not republish TikTok's content — you get back restaurant names and map links, not TikTok's videos.

In practice, accepting this risk means the extension could be forced to stop working if TikTok objects. That risk belongs to DineFile, not to you — using DineFile does not make you responsible for TikTok's terms.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account removes your account, your jobs, the restaurants extracted from them, and the spreadsheet files we generated for you.

You can delete your account from the account page. This cannot be undone. See the privacy policy for the fuller description of what deletion removes.

Ending your access

DineFile can suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms, to abuse the service, or in a way that puts the service or other people at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told why.

You can stop using DineFile at any time by deleting your account.

What DineFile does not promise

Extraction is model-driven and can be wrong. A confidence score is an estimate, not a guarantee. A venue match can be the wrong branch, or a restaurant that has since closed — check before you travel.

DineFile is provided as-is, and the service may change or be interrupted.

Limits

DineFile is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, DineFile is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and DineFile's total liability to you is limited to what you have paid DineFile in the twelve months before the claim.

If your use of DineFile causes a claim

If someone brings a claim against DineFile because of how you used the service — breaking these terms, misusing the spreadsheet you got back, or infringing someone else's rights — you agree to cover the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees. DineFile will tell you about any such claim promptly and may take over defending it.

This does not apply to DineFile's own decisions. In particular, the TikTok position described above is DineFile's risk, not yours.

Governing law

These terms, and your use of DineFile, are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you and DineFile both agree to that jurisdiction.

California users

If you are a California resident and a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
